Evan is a baby no longer. He is 3 and acting every bit his age, especially since he potty trained. He loves living on the farm. When we first moved in he would say, Mom, we have a farm now. He likes to help with the animals and water the garden. He can crack eggs to cook. He still wears pants almost exclusively. But he is really growing and changing!

 You are my sunshine, my only sunshine! Evan, I'm so grateful for an excuse to slow down and relish the cuddles. You help me do that. You are a blessed little boy, so loved by so many! I can't believe you are 3.5 months old. You are my sweet baby.

You were given the name Evan, after Evan Burgess Theobald, Erik after your father, and Archibald as your family name. You were blessed to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You were blessed with kindness and patience and a desire to learn. You were blessed to help others. You were blessed to help in missionary work. You were blessed to come to know your Savior.  It was Easter Sunday and General Conference. Nana, Papa, JL, Mom, Dad, Alyssa, Taft, Joel, and Kent were physically present. Gramma and Grandpa Nelsen, Jacob, Katie, Lily, Ben, Angela, Claire, James, Lewis, Porter, Sobei, Taylor, Doug, Camille, Archie, Clara, Doug, Maria, and Bishop Coombs were present through zoom. You were born during the COVID-19 pandemic and it made gathering in person a little bit undesirable, but it was a blessing so many could still support through technology! ...
